how to remove a sofa bed ?
1. Pull out the sleeper bed and extend it fully.
2. Flip or roll the sofa body forward so that it rests on the bed. When done correctly, the inner back of the sofa is resting on the bed and the legs and the bottom of the sofa are facing outward and parallel to the floor. You may need help with this, so get a partner if possible.
3. Remove the dust cover from the bottom of the sofa. This exposes the bed frame that is attached to the sofa frame.
4. Locate the bolts that attach the bed frame onto the sofa frame. There are at least two on each side and possibly more. They extend through the bed-frame folding mechanism and into the sofa frame.
5. Attach a wrench or a ratchet and socket onto the bolt head and begin turning them out. When all of the attachment bolts are removed, the bed frame "wobbles" inside of the sofa when it is pushed back and forth.
6. Pull the sofa back down so the legs are resting on the floor. Lift up on the bed frame at the front of the sofa and slide it out and away from the sofa. Remove the mattress and fold the frame back up to make it easy to carry.
